A perfect gift for the flower lover! At Beacon Woods Farm, we offer weekly U pick flower events beginning in mid to late April (weather dependent of course!) and extending into the Fall when the first frost arrives. Instead of getting that special someone just a bouquet of flowers, give them the experience and joy of picking their own flowers!
Gift certificates are available in one week, 4 week, 8 week or 12 week intervals. Your flower lover gets to choose beautiful, just-cut (by them!) blooms to design as they desire every time they come out.
How it works:
I will mail you (or them) a lovely handcrafted Beacon Woods Farm Gift Certificate to open on Christmas Day. When the season opens they simply bring their certificate and enjoy. Your gift certificate gives the flower enthusiast first dibs at the current seasonal flower options. The price per variety will be posted and they can gather as much as they like up to $20/session. (They can use future sessions as well if desired). They can choose any day the U pick is open so there is no commitment to any specific date. We are typically open Friday +/- Saturday mornings during the growing season. (Dates and times are always posted on the website).
The U pick flower farm will first open in mid to late April with daffodils and tulips in all sorts of shapes, colors and sizes. After that it’s snapdragon season followed by peonies! Then the summer flowers begin (sunflowers, zinnias, marigolds, cosmos, strawflowers, gladiolus, calla lilies, celosia, rudbeckia, gomphrena and more!) As the temperatures start to cool off the dahlias start pumping their gorgeous blooms and continue until the freeze. It’s non-stop blooms!

Can my gift recipient bring a friend?
Yes! Every guest who comes picks a bouquet. There are plenty of blooms!
Can the gift recipient bring children?
Yes, well behaved and supervised children are welcomed! All guests including children pick a bouquet. We offer smaller sized bouquets with a lower price point for our young friends (ages 12 and younger).
Can the recipient take photos?
Yes, we love photos! All guests are welcomed to take photos with their phones. We encourage everyone to post their blooms to social media and please tag us! Thank you!
Photographers are welcomed to come at our designated photography hours (typically in late afternoon). There is an hourly fee for this. (Please contact Beacon Woods Farm for details).
Can the recipient bring pets or animals? Is there smoking, vaping, or alcohol drinking?
Nope.
What should my gift recipient bring?
We encourage all flower pickers to bring their own scissors or snips, a clean bucket, and perhaps some gloves. Water is provided.
